What a wonderful way to spend a warm October afternoon, at the Windy Hill trailhead on Skyline Blvde with a warm sun and no visitors other than one trucker eating lunch and a handful of tiny critters biting my ankles. Talk about being in the peaceful present...and there was shade and a picnic table too!
